Bridge Day
I spent last Saturday shooting “Bridge Day” in Fayettesville, West Virginia. People come from all over the world to BASE jump 876 feet. All jumpers were required to have 100+ BASE jumps before jumping. Surprisingly with the hundreds of jumps no one got hurt and there was only one minor mishap when a parachute got out of control and a jumper hit the people rappelling off of the bridge.
I also did a run of portraits lit with a couple strobes as the jumpers finished.
wow these are awesome. i love love love the one of lundergan — with the frog shirt on. and the one of the orange jacket, laying in the air above the fall trees….so beautiful.
